1952 – 1953 FORD ORIGINAL 6 VOLT CAR RADIO – Radio did Work back in the 1960’s when I removed it from a 1953 Ford in a Wrecking Yard. These Cars were plentiful back in the 1960’s and 1970’s and I hit all the Wrecking Yards I could find and always carried my Tool Box with me. When I found this Radio, I went Home, checked the Tubes at my Local Drug Store, and then Temporarily removed my Original Radio and placed this one in my Car to see if it Played and it did! Prices back in the 1960’s were dirt cheap so I was not worried if it worked or not, right away, when I bought it. Also Drug Stores at the time, had Tube Tester Machines and Radio Tubes you could Buy to replace any bad ones when necessary. After checking it out for the next Month while driving, I removed it and replaced my Original Radio back in my Car. In case my Original Radio died, I had this Spare on hand but never needed to call upon it for use. I placed this one in storage in my Parts Room in my Garage for the next 50 Years. After sitting on my shelf for 50 Years, it may need some maintenance before it will Play again. I have included a Radio Operation Manual with all the Information needed to work and maintain this Radio at no extra charge. At the time of this listing, I could only find One other 1952/1953 Radio for Sale but it didn’t look as nice as this one plus it was missing the knobs and it was for Parts Only! (FYI: Radio Tubes for this Radio are readily available on EBAY if any tubes were to need replacing). Questions? Please Feel Free to Ask! Sold as Pre-Owned, “As-Is” Condition.
