We need to have your old Top Loader transmission core back. Otherwise we will charge you a 1000 more for a core charge if you do not have a core to exchange. Lets talk. This is a Top Loader 4 Speed, Close Ratio with a 2.32 1st gear. Has the big 1 3/8″ 10 splined input and the 31 splined output. The Metal Tag HEH-AM 010148 1966 427 V8 Galaxie Has been Completely Rebuilt from front to back. Has gorgeous engagement teeth, also has 2 new torque loc slider assemblys. Has been disassembled, cleaned, inspected and re assembled with new wear items as needed. New syncro ring and bearing kit, all new seals & gaskets, small parts kit, key & spring kits and more. This transmission has nice used gears. Has the Dual bolt pattern for mounting to the bell housing. Please look at the tail housing to be sure it is correct for your shifter location. Before this transmission made its way to us, someone ground off the casting number on the tail housing, won’t affect the performance in any way. The casting number below is correct.
