Powerflex MINI Cooper Lower Engine Mount Insert Bushings for 2007-2013 R55 R56 R57 R58 R59 These PFF5-207 inserts are one of the best modifications you can do to your MINI. The inserts are a very simple install as you just lower the bottom engine mount from the sub frame, then these inserts will slide into the stock mount large end bushing. The Powerflex inserts fill in the air gaps molded into the stock round bushing to stiffen up the mount. By stiffening the mount this will reduce the engine movement and not allow it to rock back and forth as much. This in turn will help get the power to the drivetrain smoother and quicker improving the acceleration. This bushing insert set can also help reduce torque steer as the driveline won’t be able to move as much.This is a great mod, but keep in mind this is making the engine mount stiffer so this can add some vibration to the car and interior of your MINI as the mount will now be stiffer, but we feel it isn’t that bad and totally worth the gains. But if you are a sensitive person this may not be the mod for you. These do NOT replace the rubber bushings, they are only an insert to support and stiffen the existing rubber bushing.
