So buy more and save! —Description of This Auction—— Having all of my comics professionally graded by CGC would cost a fortune and take forever, and I don’t have either the time or patience. But if you do, nearly all of my comics definitely are “grading worthy!” My grading scale includes Near Mint (looks like it was just bought, any flaws are extremely minor), Very Fine (almost Near Mint, but just misses), Fine (still looks new but has small imperfections), Very Good (shows evidence of handling and has notable flaws but none are disastrously awful), Good (more flawed, still a solid book for reading but that’s about it), Fair (big problems) and Poor (horrible condition, trash it after reading it). Here is what you will get in this auction: This auction is for eight issues of the original DC Vertigo “Lucifer” comic book series written by Mike Carey. This series is a spinoff from the Neil Gaiman “Sandman” series, where the character was introduced. What keeps it from being Near MInt is a horizontal impression on the cover possibly made by some kind of printing press roller — it’s hard to see in the photo above, and I couldn’t angle the light to get a decent photo of the flaw, which really only becomes noticeable if you turn the book back and forth under a light, but I’m picky enough to mention it.
