Original shelves are present. Excellent Kittinger level craftsmanship, sturdy and solid. These cabinets retain their original Kittinger finish, which could be touched up or fully repainted. For completely new lacquer in your choice of color, please contact gallery. At 75 years old, these are great pieces from a sought after and important early modern furniture collection. These cabinets make a great addition for any serious collection of American 20th Century Design. But the price makes these accessible to anyone simply looking for a cool pair of nightstands. Our companion Mandarin chest of drawers has been sold. Included here is a photo / prior sale example of these same nightstands in a cream combination (from a prior sale (other seller) of these identical cabinets).
