Large bison prehistoric tooth and partial root fossil in display case. The species is Bison sp. This fossil was found in North Florida and is from the Pleistocene Epoch. This fossil is just about 2″ x 1″ The fossil comes in a beautiful and unique display case that you will find nowhere else and includes a laminated information card. All fossils sold are authentic. No replicas. Bison, (genus Bison), also called buffalo or wisent, either of two species of oxlike grazing mammals that constitute the genus Bison of the family Bovidae.
