The tubes are tested NOS on my TV-7/U at 98-100 and 100-101 and sound wonderful on my system. They are super rare and sought after by many audiophiles world-wide. The ECC186/7316 tube is much sought after and is considered by many to be one of the best sounding 12AU7 tube types ever made. This was Amperex' version of a lab grade ECC82/12AU7. This tube has spectacular width of sound, from the rumbly lows to the sparkly highs. It doesn't emphasize any particular region of sound, but walks a fine line between analytical and warm. Quite happy crashing through very complicated pieces. Clean sound down low and clean (not bright) highs. What you see is what you get. Please ask me any question before bidding.
