It has switch positions allowing lighting of upper, lower or both. The upper is conventional bulb and the lower is Christmas style bulb.It is in excellent antique quality estate condition. It had no hurricane globe and I added a new one (see photos). There are no chips or cracks to any of the glass. There are areas of patina or tarnish (see photos).
