DATING TO THE 1840’S FASHOINED OF A GREY WOOL AND SILK BLEND WITH AN INNER COTTON LINING AND IS SEWN FULLY BY HAND. PIPED SEAMS ALONG EACH SHOULDER AND AROUND THE NECKLINE WITH A SMALL BRAID DETAIL ON EITHER SIDE OF THE CLOSURE AND A FLAT RUFFLING ALL ALONG THE BOTTOM EDGE. THERE ARE NO CLOSURES. CONDITION: THE FRONT HAS SOME FAINT BROWN STAINS WITH A DARKER THUMBPRINT OF STAINING ON THE BOTTOM ROUNDED EDGE WITH NUMEROUS STAINS SEEN ON THE REAR, AS PICTURED.
