An 8×10 black & white photograph extracted from a MASSIVE photographer’s ESTATE in Clearwater Florida. One of the last & largest of photo archives in the state of Florida. Photos from 1890-1970 Unfortunately I have no idea who the person in the photograph is. Perhaps some of you golf experts may know. There are 2 of this image that I found in the estate and I believe George was not the original photographer because this image is much earlier than 1930s. I’m guessing the original from which this came would’ve been around 1900-1910? I think George was playing with photo processes because the other photograph, same image, is a complete reverse of this one and has already been purchased by another collector. It was found in a box with other photos that he developed obviously after his service in World War II. A COA from the estate will come with your purchase George Fulmer. Photographer for the city of Clearwater for over half a century. Also a Navy enlisted photographer during WW2. After cleaning out the residence & studio in 2014, we have been sorting through over 100,000 photographs for the last 10 years, and are finally offering some of the best ones up for sale individually. As the estate gains recognition and momentum here, we will begin to list more and more, some in sets, and some for auction as well. We hope to Bring recognition to his life’s work as well as to find homes for the history of an entire city as documented by the city photographer. The photographs include everything you would’ve expected a city photographer to have been present for, from weddings, to new construction, aerial photographs, sporting events, school events, press photography, police, Jaycees, and a really nice , but VERY LIMITED collection of nude photographs from a nudist camp that is still in operation here today. Even more limited, there were a handful of war photographs and film that we were able to save, but it was not much as unfortunately for some reason, he had stored the war photographs outside where they were exposed to the weather, and sadly they had been completely destroyed. The photos that are being offered here were well preserved, found inside the home and studio, in a cool, dry, cellar type setting. FOLLOW US ON EBAY !!!
