The neck pickup is similar to a Strat pickup in that it has thicker 42awg magnet wire and an open cover. These two mods will give you more clarity and chime when playing clean as well as a scooped mids voicing that works especially well with tube screamer style overdrives. The bridge pickup is scatter wound to 7.5k for medium output and can dish out plenty of Tele twang even though the alnico 2 takes a little edge off the treble.
