This listing is for a hand blown, bubble style STOPPER made by the Blenko Glass Co. This clear glass stopper has a blue applied ring (Sky Blue, Sapphire ?). We have not been able to identify the Blenko decanter for which this was used, however, it looks that it might have been an alternate stopper for the decanters designed by Joel Myers and made in the 1960’s exclusively for the Gump Department Stores in California. It measures 2-3/4 inches wide (including the ring) and 3-1/2 inches overall length. Condition is excellent; there are no signs of prior use. The fitted end is not ground. This piece was obtained at the Blenko factory about 20 years ago. Note – free shipping applies only to destinations in the lower 48 US States.
