OD Green CTS WW1 Ambulance & Supply Wagons(2) w/ Horses This listing is for 1x BMC-67399 “OD Green CTS WW1 Ambulance & Supply Wagons(2) w/ Horses” 1:32 PlaysetFrom the BMC Toys CLASSIC TOY SOLDIERS COLLECTOR SERIES, the WW1 HORSE WAGONS 32 piece set includes 2 wagons, 8 horses, and lots of accessories. OD-Green wagons feature opening tailgates, smooth rolling metal axles and swivel front wheels. Two removable off-white square ambulance tops have printed red cross emblems, with one closed and the other partially rolled open on right side. Off-white color medical accessories include doctor’s bag, canteen, lantern, surgeon’s table, bedroll, rolled up stretcher, medical supplies box, and driver seat. OD-Green wagon accessories include 2 each buckets, wash tubs, lanterns, hanging barrels, hanging boxes, and driver seats. Horses include 2 each off-white, gray, brown and black. Wagons measure 4.7 inches long x 2.95 inches wide without accessories installed, 3.6 inches tall with tops installed, and are up to 12 inches long when hitched to a 4 horse team. Tops, horses, and medical accessories are made from HDPE plastic and wagons are made from soft plastic. Approximately 1:32 scale with lots of detail and very little flashing.These wagons were initially offered to hobby collectors by Classic Toy Soldiers Company around 2001 and are designed to be compatible with Louis Marx & Company Blue & Gray Battle Sets of the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. Classic Toy Soldiers Co. worked with BMC Toys to make these miniatures available to today’s youngsters. BMC Toys was founded by Bill McMaster in 1991 and specializes in producing historically accurate plastic army men figures and playsets in the classic realistic style of the 1950s and 1960s. Instructions: With adult supervision, dip any bent part in hot water, then cold water to straighten. Assembly of horses in hitches requires some hand strength, so adult assembly is recommended. These are a perfect addition for any Civil War to WW1 playset or school project dioramas.
