eBay BMC WWII German Jagdpanzer IV Tank Destroyer (with decals) – 54mm scale 1 model in unpainted plastic, with colored decals for extra realism The German Jagdpanzer IV Tank Destroyer’s official designation was Jaghtpanzer IV, Sd.Kfz. It was built on the Panzer IV chassis, and replaced the StuG III. It was equipped with a 7.5cm Pak 42 L/70 main gun, the same as the Panther tank, and proved very successful due to its low profile, accurate gun and good armor protection (it boasted an 80mm thick sloped front). Over 8500 were produced, seeing combat in the Normandy campaign, the Battle of the Bulge, and on the Eastern front, being used primarily as a tank killer against both the allies and the Soviets. The model features lots of authentic exterior detail and includes an adjustable gun and an opening hatch. The tank is made from stiff tan color ABS plastic and measures 11.5 long x 3.6 wide x 2.75 inches tall. A sheet of self-adhesive decals are included with instructions on whereto place them. This model fits in perfectly with Airfix, Forces of Valor, New Ray and 21st Century Toys armor. It is carton-fresh, in pristine mint condition, just as we received them from the manufacturer.
