This CLI-8 Cyan (C) can be used instantly for those who use this cartridge in your printer and wish to refill. It has it’s original CLI-8 chip which has been reset. Another use for this CLI-8 cartridge are for those that have a Canon Pro-100 printer but have heard of and fear the “yellow jello” issue which occurs when flushing the original Canon CLI-42 yellow cartridge. Here is your fix for yellow jello. You’ll need to move over the chip from your CLI-42 yellow cartridge and remove the CLI-8 chip. You will also need to modify or cover the CLI-8 label so that you know what chip you have moved over This can also be used in the new Canon Pro-200 printer by removing the CLI-8 chip and moving over YOUR CLI-65 chip. Now you can see the ink levels. For this solution, you must disable ink monitoring and watch the levels on your own. This has been used once then expertly flushed of old ink, ball extracted, drilled out and then dried to perfection. This is ready for your 3rd party ink immediately. Bonus ! This includes the premium orange storage clip and black or white rubber hole plug that others are NOT including. This cartridge is an easy CLI-8 refiller solution or also works for CLI-42 and CLI-65 refillers who can transfer their chip from ANY CLI-42 or CLI-65 cartridge that may be giving you trouble or you may suspect has issues. Full sets of (8 tank) CLI-8 sets are not always in stock due to the rarity of CLI-8 Red and Green Cartridges. If you don’t see full sets available then these singles are an alternative.
