Please read the entire description. You must use this with a compatible computer monitor that is recognized by Windows XP. Up for sale is my latest project build, a throwback to 2000s PC gaming, specifically the Windows XP era. The build was completed in late July of 2024 and consists of a combination of new and used components. I had to find a period-correct motherboard that had Windows XP drivers available, and the Asus motherboard fit the bill perfectly. Asus still had the official drivers available for download from their support site. There is a trayless hot-swap hard drive cage on the front of the computer for quick changing of drives and the potential to run multiple operating systems. Windows XP was installed from a new-old-stock copy of Windows XP that had never been used and is included with the sale. I also will include a USB flash drive that has a lot of the software used for the build backed up on it. Some ports on front panel do not function due to lack of support by motherboard and/or Windows XP. There is a lot potential for this computer. I just don’t have space for it any longer. This is a custom built retro computer. It is NOT intended for daily use for modern activities online. It is intended to be a offline gaming PC. You can use it wired to a network for the internet, but it is not advised due to the age of Windows XP. You can easily add a different operating system such as Linux if you like. There is a hot-swap drive bay on the front of the computer which would allow for multiple drives and operating systems to be used if you wanted to further customize the computer. Please consider how large and heavy this computer is when reviewing the price and shipping it will cost quite a bit to ship it. I will ship the media and peripheral devices in a separate shipment.
