This is a listing for a Set of TWO (2) vintage DeLee Art Figurines with planter or vases. These are called “Katrina” and “Hans”. This is a Dutch couple with blue accents and pink and blue flowers. The planter or vase portion is formed by Katrina’s apron and Hans has the planter. The finish is glossy and was produced circa 1944. The DeLee Art Pottery company of California was in business 1937-1958. The artist Jimmie Lee Adair Kohl designed the figures, and a team of artists were given the ability to be creative in the hand painted decoration on each. Katrina has the company sticker with DeLee Art California Hand Decorated as well as faintly embossed information in the bottom. Hans has the decorator’s initial signature and some sticker residue. Please look at the pictures for the best view of the figure. Katrina measures approximately 7″ and Hans 7 3/8″ high. These are in vintage pre-owned condition with general crazing on Katrina, as seen. Inside the planter portion shows signs of dirt. This has a bit of dust from having been on display. Please use the magnifier to closely inspect these items before bidding.
