This case is model a2700 (lightening/MagSafe charger) and will charge and pair only with AirPods Pro 2nd gen model earbuds: A2698, a2699. If you are not familiar with terms original, 100% authentic or genuine, this also means real, non-fake or not a replica. 2nd gen lightning cases will only work with 2nd gen airpod pros model earbud a2698 and a2699. I repeat, this case will NOT work with 1st generation AirPods pro earbud models a2083, a2084, or 2nd gen usb-c AirPods Pro models a3047, a3048. Leave your phone nearby so firmware can be updated on AirPods if needed.3.After this charging period, open the case, unlock and open your phone to home screen, and push and hold the round button on the back of the case for 5-30 seconds until the light begins to blink white. Continue to hold the button and a prompt will appear on your screen showing the pairing process.4.If your airpods will not fit in this case, have a magnetic resistance or the case does not flash white during pairing process, there is a good chance your earbuds are not genuine airpods and they will not work in this genuine case.
