Description Gibson Custom Shop / 1964 ES-335 Reissue w/Bigsby & Custom Made Plate VOS Sixties Cherry ≪S/N:140215≫ A special spec 1964 ES-335 made to order is now in stock! This is a custom-made plate and Bigsby ES-335 that was produced by the now-defunct Memphis Factory for The Black Crowes guitarist Rich Robinson, a limited edition model, and a Nashville Custom Shop around 2020, but has not been produced in the last 2-3 years. Other specifications are the same as the catalog model “1964 ES-335 Reissue”. The “Authentic ’64 Medium C-Shape” neck has a nice grip of moderate thickness. I was also considering underwound pickups, but I decided to go with the “Custombucker Alnico III (Unpotted)”. The only difference is that it is equipped with a Bisbee, so the thumb nut under the bridge is dome-shaped, which is a point not to be missed! The antique coat gives the head logo and the binding on the neck and body a sophisticated look, and the color of the Sixties Cherry is great!
