It is a collectible miniatures game featuring super-heroes from Marvel, DC and Indy comics, or licenced from movies, video games, and more. The figures average 1 1/2″ tall and stand on a base with a dial that contains all of the statistics for that character. Think chess, but with a lot more options for pieces, played on a map with terrain and other tokens. Older sets did not have character cards. Beginning with the Avengers set, a character card was added to the game for each figure. For these sets, the cards are always included in auctions unless specified at the top of the description. Please note also that gravity feed and counter top display figures come in small packages so the cards often have bends or some creasing.
