The Combustion slipjoint from J.E made is like the sebenza of slipjoint knives. It is made to exacting standards, with premium materials and unmatched fit and finish. The combustion has a heavy backspring to compliment the vault like construction and runs on bronze phosphor washers for that hydraulic smoothness. The ‘hard to find’ CPM 3V tool steel blade variant is hand ground and beautifully executed. The fit and finish is just insane on this knife, there are absolutely zero gaps in the backspring, a crisp half stop, blade is dead centered and it just feels indestructible. The knife is in perfect condition, but I did put on a leather lanyard (beautiful hand cut full grain horween chromexcel leather cordage) which is just something I do with all my slipjoints.
