These cost effective Reusable Hot/Cold Packs are great for treating all manner of soft tissue injuries including sprains and bruising. The Physio Reusable Hot & Cold Pack is perfect for use by therapists where larger areas require treatment. The packs are ideal for treating a wide range of injuries and they last longer than a standard Instant Hot or Cold pack. Use as an Ice Pack in the early (acute) stage of a sports injury or following joint surgery to relieve pain, prevent swelling and cool tissue temperature. Also useful for those suffering from fevers, night sweats, headaches, eczema, sunstroke, toothache etc Use as hot packs to increase blood flow to the tissue at site of injury to promote healing and relaxation. Hot packs are excellent for non-inflammatory complaints such as sciatica, lumbago (low back pain), muscle ache and muscle tension. Features Nutritional Information Ingredients Directions How to Use Your Reusable Hot & Cold Pack Our ice packs are very easy to use, simply squeeze the inner button and shake. This will activate the cold pack making it cold within seconds; then place on the injury. A cold pack should be applied as soon as possible after the injury occurs. The length of time and how often ice should be applied is recommended as 20 minutes for every 2 hours for the first 48 – 72 hours. However this can vary depending on the individual being treated where 20 minutes can prove excessive to some and inadequate for others. Please note: This is a usage guide only, please refer to your Koolpak reusable hot-cold pack for further product information. For Cold Use: Place the gel pack in the freezer for a minimum of 2 hours before use. Ensure the pack is wrapped in a cloth or protective sleeve before applying directly to the skin. Use packs in short 20 minutes intervals Provides effective relief from muscular pain and helps reduce swelling Ideal for treating a range of soft tissue injuries For Hot Use: Ensure the gel inside the pack is evenly filled before heating.
