If you want to be ready to play anything, this is your piece! The rim is nicely rounded, and there is ample room for comfort at an inside diameter of .660″. The cup is slightly more shallow than a Bach C. It is shallow enough to enhance upper register playing, but not so shallow that the lower register loses core and sound. The backbore is a Legends LA. It’s got enough focus to make technical solo and lead parts stand out when needed, but not so much focus that the sound can’t blend with the group. This piece is a nice balance of all the elements needed for maximum versatility of playing style.
