This Macbeth-Evans Petalware cup and saucer set is a stunning addition to any antique depression glass collection. The white “Monax” glass is adorned with 3 pastel bands, making it the most sought after color of Petalware. The saucer has bands of pink, blue and green with the inside band being green. The hard to find cup has a pink rim but no green or blue bands. Crafted between 1930 and 1940 in the United States, this true depression glass is a must-have for collectors of vintage glassware. The opalescent and decorative features of this set makes them a beautiful piece that is sure to impress. Add it to your collection today! CONDITION: BEAUTIFUL! No chips, nicks, visible scratches, cracks, stains or paint wear. The only flaws that I found are related to manufacturing. The cup has a bump of extra glass in a seam line and a stray speck of paint on the side nearby. The thickness of the paint on the saucer is uneven in a places. Please see photos.
