There is no electronic coupling from the lens to the camera, so you can only use it in Aperture Priority or Manual modes. Mechanically, this adapter will connect Phase One Schneider Kreuznach lenses to a Sony camera, but this is NOT recommended, since the Schneider lenses don’t have an aperture control ring to set the f-stop. The iris cannot be controlled from the camera. The build quality of this Chinese-made adapter is OK, but it is not Novoflex-grade German engineering.
