eBay You are bidding on a Pair of Brand New Southwest Speed Painted Flat Black Long Tube Headers that fits 1965-1974 Chevy Passenger Cars with Big Block Chevy 396-454ci Engines (SWS Part #440-2397). These Southwest Speed long tube headers are a direct fit for 1965-1974 Chevy passenger cars with Big Block Chevy V-8 engines, and will work with both automatic & manual transmissions. These headers are a chassis header and are meant to go inside of the frame rails on 1965-1974 Chevrolet Chassis. The collectors exit toward the rear of the engine compartment and are well above the under carriage of the vehicle, eliminating the chance of the collectors contacting the ground. The unique design of the collector location makes these headers a great choice for many GM passenger cars that include: 1965-1970 Bel Air, Biscayne, & Impala, 1967-1969 Camaro, and 1968-1974 Nova with Big Block Chevy Engines. Original Big Block frame stands and motor mounts must be used to insure proper engine location and header fit. Ground parallel with .380″ flanges on the cylinder head surface with 2″ primary tubes, & feature 3-1/2″ collectors and are supplied with 2-1/2″ reducers that bolt to the collectors, to connect the rest of the exhaust system to the vehicle. Sold complete with header bolts and gaskets, and reducer bolts and gaskets. These Headers will fit angle plug or straight plug heads, and no spark plug or spark plug wire restrictions. It will generally dull even more when the engine is started. The header paint will smoke and let off an odor the first few times the engine is up to temperature and the black finish will become duller turning closer to gray in color. If exhaust temperatures are extreme at start the paint will blister and peel. There is no warranty on header paint. Header Return Policy: In the event you order a header that will not fit your vehicle and application, you may return them for a refund, providing you don’t damage the header. When you receive the header the finish will be protected and must remain unscratched for a refund.
