At closer ranges, the magnification can be dialed back, allowing the NX8’s true daylight visible FC-DMx reticle to be used as a red dot sight. As targets increase in distance, the magnification can be increased and the shooter can take full advantage of the FC-DMx’s “Christmas Tree” grid of windage and elevation holdover points.
