Original American 6E5 tubes use the mined mineral Willemite for the target, but I have to believe the target material on these tubes was made in a lab, since these are VERY bright. The third picture shows one of the Toyo tubes and the last picture shows a JAN Sylvania from the late 1970s. Show off your tuning eye radio with one of these bright ones.
