BRANT’S INDIAN / PULMONARY BALSAM / M.T.WALLACE PROPRIETOR (boldly emb on 3 panels)….Open Pontil in sunken base…..crude applied tapered lip….aqua….8 sided….6 7/8″tall. …..Excellent shiny attic nice condition with only a tiny nick on top surface of lip & a tiny flake on edge of lip; no other damage. These could easily be buffed out . A sparkling clean bottle with no haze. A ring of natural crazing on inside surface of the neck from when it was made. Crude whittled glass!…..Indian medicines were very popular in the mid 1800s.
