Hello and thank you for viewing our listing We are very proud to offer This rare and magnificent pair of Bohemian Czech Art Glass vases in classic black glass with iconic white threads pattern. They are a stunning addition to any collection. The hand blown glass and glossy finish make these vases true works of art. The black glass with white threading adds a touch of elegance to any room. They are in perfect condition except one of the vases has a small feather type chip along the edge of the lip of the sheared-top neck. Please see photos. *** Please note, The surface of these vases is ultra high gloss and shiny like a mirror. In the photographs, if you see any white spots, it is not dirt or damage, but reflections of lights, windows and things from inside my house in the background. I am currently working on a photographic studio with backdrops and such that will take care of this problem. I can assure you that these vases are imperfect condition and have no damage except for the small feather crack on the lip of one vase described and shown in the photos towards the end. Thank you! *** The vases are 16 inches in height and approximately 7 inches in diameter at their widest. At the very top of the narrowest, the diameter of the neck is approximately one and three-quarter inches and the base diameter is approximately 4 inches. Each base weighs approximately 3 pounds and 13 to 14 ounces. These vases are perfect for displaying flowers, storing trinkets, or standing alone as a decorative piece. The antique style and artful design make them a unique addition to any home. Care instructions are simple, just clean with a damp cloth. These vases are authentic and original, and were manufactured in Czechoslovakia (which is now Slovakia) in 1910. Add a touch of Bohemian charm to your home with this beautiful pair of vases. I did an extensive search online and only found a few examples of these where one vase sold for $570 two years ago and another instance where they are currently asking $410 for one. We feel our asking price for this pair is more than fair, but we are definitely open to negotiation.
