eBay *RARE* c1800s “THE WORKS OF OLIVER GOLDSMITH” VICAR WAKEFIELD ANTIQUE BOOK (P6) Great *RARE* antique fine binding hardback book containing the works of Oliver Goldsmith such as The Vicar Of Wakefield, poetry, essays, etc (see content pages for list). No publication date but looks to be circa 1870s or 1880s. No mention that this a volume from a set and does not say “end of volume 1” on the last page so looks to be a single publication. Photos 1 to 3 show a tear on the leather cover spine. Some foxing on the title page due to the tissue paper protective sheet. Binding and other pages inside are in superb condition especially as the book is over 200 years old. Measures 24cm tall x 15.5cm wide x 3.5cm thick. Weighs 975 grams.
