Vintage Robert Keller Ink Company – Embossed Square Ink Bottle Robert Keller began to manufacture ink out of the basement of his drug store in Detroit, Michigan in 1886. Constantly experimenting and improving his formulas, what began as a side business quickly became his full-time occupation with the incorporation of the Robert Keller Ink Co. in 1899. This early 1900’s bottle is a beautiful looking clear glass (2 1/16″ high x 2 1/16″ base) made of heavy glass – hand blown? The bottle has Keller Detroit embossed on its bottom, as shown.
