Its polypropylene composition protects the substrate from moisture penetration, which is particularly important in today’s building environment where most substrates are moisture-sensitive. The free space on the underside of DITRA-HEAT-DUO provides a route for excess moisture and vapor to escape from the substrate. This membrane is larger in size compared to others, making it suitable for covering larger floor areas. The DHD810M also features channels for embedding the Ditra Heat heating cables, allowing for efficient and even heat distribution across the entire floor surface.
