For sale is a porcelain cup and saucer set by Schonwald Germany for the gourmet food store, Feinkost Käfer. The porcelain set is has a white base decorated with 3/8″ red and black ladybugs. Five ladybugs decorate the saucer rim with nine staggered along two rows around the mug. The mug has embossed exterior lines which run just above and below the elaborate handle. It is not clear if this was originally sold as a set. Both pieces are in very good condition with no damage and light shelf wear on the bottom of each. The mug is marked in black for Feinkost Käfer. The saucer is marked in green for Schonwald with the number 9486. Made in Germany.
