Set of 2 Antique 1885 Brass Manhattan Door Mortise Lock Set wKey Nashau Lockwood Offered for your consideration is this Set of 2 Antique 1885 Brass Manhattan Door Mortise Lock Sets with Key manufactured by Nashau / Lockwood. The functioning mortises have Nashau Pat 89 on one side of the lock box & have 2-3/4″ back sets. Lock boxes (not including the face plates) measure 3-1/4″ deep x 3-3/4″ high. Deadbolts snap out and back like they should. .Brass face plate also carries the Manhattan design and measures 5-7/8″ long x 1″ wide. Both mortise (together) weigh in at 2 lbs 8.4 oz. Lockwood company purchased Nashau in 1889. Disclosure: These mortises did not originally come with a key but a locksmith found one that works for them and it works flawlessly.
