Most “Jupiters” are created for small-format cameras, but some film lenses, as well as optics for special types of equipment, also bear the same name. The Arsenal plant mass-produced several discrete lenses in frames with a Kyiv-Avtomat mount and a jumping aperture. Their optical device had already been used before in lenses for threaded mirror Zeniths. However, due to the peculiarities of the frame and the lack of an aperture control ring, these lenses cannot fully work on other types of photographic equipment without modification. An extension ring for macro photography was available for sale. There are a huge number of different modifications of the ‘JUPITER-11’ lens, both for SLR and rangefinder cameras. JUPITER-11 4/135 AUTOMATIC is a telephoto lens with a fixed focal length of 135 mm and a maximum relative aperture of 1:4. Uses a rare Kyiv-Avtomat mount.
