Offered is a vintage 1990 Star’s Dressing Room stage room box KIT by BRAXTON PAYNE 1/4″ – Dollhouse Miniature 1:48, still sealed NIB part of the New Orleans Vignette Kit annual series. It is called the Star’s Dressing Room stage room box kit and is from 1990 – Dollhouse Miniature in 1:48 quarter inch scale and depicts a rectangular vertical room box with a front opening that shows a window in a brick wall. There is an open skylight in the ceiling for more light on the scene. This piece was the 1990 contribution from Braxton Payne in their series of annual offerings. It includes so many details such as flooring, drapes, closet door and other detailed accessories. This kit is very rare today as looks like it would be great fun to assemble. All instructions, lovely paper images and wood components are in the sealed bag. I am currently offering a limited number of these kits from Braxton Payne, but when they are gone, they are gone forever, so if you have interest, please do see the other kits that may still be available per the last photo. For over 20 years the Gulf South Miniatures and Dollhouse Event in New Orleans hosted an all day event work called “the World’s Largest Miniature Workshop”. During the event participants would build a theme based room box. This was a popular annual event until the destructive forces of Hurricane Katrina in 2005 demolished the venue, and ended the miniaturist gathering. It is sadly missed. This vintage KIT is NIB and in excellent condition and ready to have you build it. Please see the ruler as it will give you a strong sense of scale.
