One reason is that I could find no other signed copy of this book on the internet. Another, that the book came from the home of Billy Frolick, American director (It is What it Is) and writer(co-wrote screenplay for Madagascar) who is moving from N.Y. to California) and is inscribed to him(see photo). And– this I think is pretty cool–the inscription says in part ‘thanks for the blurb’, a reference(if you look at the photo of the back cover) to a blurb Billy Frolick provided for this book. Note that I have eleven different titles(books) that were Mr. Frolick’s, and all of these various books are signed. You can contact me if you have an interest. The McVities love their dog Judy so much they long ago forgot that she s not human. They let her sleep between them in the bed, they sew little outfits for her, they take her photo at every opportunity. One day, they dress her up and send her to kindergarten. The McVities even have a birthday party for Judy and invite all the kids and their parents. Are the McVities out of their minds? the parents wonder. Do these people think this dog is a kid? At the party, they soon find out exactly what the McVities think–and it s even worse than they imagined: the McVities want Judy to blow out the candles!
