The North Face Trans Antarctica Parka NP62238 GORE-TEX Black With Tracking NEW Description Condition: New In 1989, an international team consisting of six countries, including Japan’s leading adventurer Keizo Funatsu, attempted to cross Antarctica to promote the importance of the environment and peace, and all members reached the goal safely in March 1990. This hooded waterproof shell jacket was designed based on the clothing worn by the team members at the time. It uses a two-layer GORE-TEX PRODUCTS structure and a durable 200 denier recycled nylon outer material. The front has a double flap design to improve waterproofing. Ventilation is provided under the arms to efficiently release moisture from inside the garment. The flags of the countries that participated in the Antarctic crossing team are placed on the left chest and back, and a silicone patch with “TransAntarctica Expedition” is placed on the left arm. The length is long enough to cover the hips.
