These sets are made for 4-String bass, but will fit a 5 and 6-String as well (although the decals will appear much smaller of a 6-String bass fretboard). All decals come with the transfer tape applied. Some sets will come with extra decals to finish your bass, depending on the dot marker layout of your fretboard. I took pictures of the bass necks without strings to better show the details of the decals. *Available in 30 colors! *Easy to apply with just a little time and patience. Watching a short instructional video on YouTube may be helpful. *Customize your bass guitar at very little cost. *They won’t damage the fretboard when removed. *They won’t affect your bass guitar’s tone, and will not get in the way when playing. *Most sets will cover your bass guitar’s original dot inlays (see pictures). A brown permanent marker will cover the dots on many rosewood fretboards. *The vinyl is made to last years and years! *I took a picture of the vinyl sheet without transfer tape to better show an idea of the dimensions, and to show details of the design. All my vinyl DOES come with transfer tape already applied. *I have been printing/cutting vinyl for personal use for years, and have decided to start selling on eBay. A lot of time is put into each one. Please use the color name and number** **I have limited the quantities on hand because I create these myself. Also, please check back for new designs!** **When applying these to the fretboard I like to use removable marking chalk on the actual frets (or a very small piece of painter’s tape) to mark off the halfway point. Then you can use that as a guide to always know where the middle of the fret is. It makes it a bit easier, but many people can use the fretboard dots as a guide. I personally applied most of these designs by sight, with no guide. When you receive your decal make sure you go over it with a credit card or any hard plastic straight edge, to make sure the decal is sticking to the transfer tape. In very rare cases a piece may need to be trimmed a bit to fit your fretboard (mainly with the vine designs which are made to fit exact, and certain fretboards are a little different). That is why it is definitely best to cut the decals apart and lay them on the fretboard to get an idea of the placement before you apply them.**
