Triumph T100R T120R/TT 1966-1967 Monobloc Throttle Cable Set (2) PN# 60-0528 D528 Properly sized throttle cables are essential for safe and correct adjustments to the throttle and carburetors. This listing includes a matched set of (2) throttle cables for use with a dual-pull twist grip. Featuring threaded inline adjusters and lined cable housings, these throttle cables from LF Harris are made to the original specifications. With an overall length of 43, 40 sheath length, and an inner wire free length of 2-7/8, these cables are the correct fitment for the 1966-1967 Triumph T120R and T120TT models with stock handlebars, and Amal 389 Monobloc carburetors. Can also be fitted to the 1967 T100R model with Amal 626 Monobloc carburetors. The cables are pulled by the motion of the twist grip, allowing them to raise and lower the throttle slides in the carburetors. Fine adjustments to cable lash are made by the inline barrel adjusters on the cables. Shouldered ferrules are fitted to the ends of the cables for direct fitment to the drilled carburetor top caps. The carburetor top caps must be removed to thread the cables through each top cap. The return spring is installed over the cable, then the cable is captured in the throttle slide. The needle and clip are fitted to the slide, with the return spring compressed so it is out of the way. The twist grip body must be separated to access the rotor, which pulls the end of the cables.
