Anchor Hocking Fire-King Philbe Sapphire Blue Ovenware Round Roaster Up for auction is a vintage light blue, glass, double handled Round Roaster / Casserole, in the Philbe Sapphire Blue Ovenware Pattern. The roaster stands approximately 2.75 inches high, and the diameter measures approximately 10.75 inches across at the top (12 inches when the handles are included). It is capable of holding a full 3 quarts of liquid, when completely filled to the top. The piece has a raised, detailed pattern stamped onto the bottom and sides, along with the “FIRE-KING” mark stamped on the base. This pattern was manufactured by Anchor Hocking, of Lancaster, Ohio, between 1941 and 1956, and is now discontinued. The Round Roaster is in great vintage condition, with no cracks, chips, scratches, stains, discoloration, repairs, nor any other damage that I can detect. However, there are several, typical mold marks on the piece, that would have occurred during the pressing of the glass. Terms: All sales final. Paypal only. I will ship USPS mail.
