Condition is “Used” with light scratches and wear. Removed from a low mileage bike. Everything is original with no service history, recommend oil change / dust / oil seal replacement at minimum. Mechanical compression and rebound function as designed and feels very smooth / plush. Stanchion surfaces show no damage or scratches / scuffs. A couple minor paint scuffs at the disc tab and drop outs of the lower sliders. Vinyl decals show no damage or wear. Preload adjustment knobs turn smoothly. Dated 1997 on the lower sliders and underside of the crown. Star nut available inside the steerer tube, V-brake or Disc brake compatible!
