Description:Vintage wicker basket fishing creel in pre loved condition made in Hong Kong Japan. This has seen many fishing adventures as evident from the dirt and dust present. The leather and canvas straps are all in good condition with some stains and wear, but no cracking in the leather. The buckles and clips are all intact and works as they should. The basket is slightly crooked. There is a ruler on the top of the leather. This would be excellent for display in a cabin or as rustic fishing decor and would clean up great with some elbow grease and the right methods, or use as intended as a bait or fish basket. It measures 15″ across at the bottom, about 8″ tall and has an opening of 10″ wide x 6″ front to back. The strap is possibly a replacement.
