It measures 3 7/8″ long closed and the 440C stainless steel blade measures 2 3/4″. This is old stock found in the original factory in Japan. Among the blemish ranges are: ( B) tight blade when opening because blade is too tight between bolsters making it difficult to open, also has staining. Has crest on handle. ( C) tight blade when opening because blade is too tight between bolsters making it difficult to open. Slightly sticky lockup. Also has staining. No crest on handle. (D) blade opens too easily from closed position. Has staining. No crest in handle and there is glue around this area. (E) tight blade when opening because blade is too tight between bolsters making it difficult to open. Has staining. No crest in handle. Has chip in handle near fingergroove. Thumb stud missing.
